Hello Bestea is an Edmonton based company that sells DIY slushie bubble tea kits. Their goal is to integrate into the local community by offering a unique experience through high-quality beverages at a reasonable price.
At the start of this project, the goal was to create a brand for a bubble tea café, however, after an unexpected turn of events, Hello Bestea had to pivot towards providing their product as a DIY kit that could be purchased through a virtual storefront.
The vision for the initial café was to provide a space where people could sit down and stay for awhile, however unlike most cafés, the space would be surrounded by luscious plants that customers could shop for or simply enjoy. Although the brand is currently used in the virtual space, I wanted to make sure that it would have longevity and be adaptable for a physical café when the right time came.
Floral elements are a representation of this vision for a green space within a café, however they are also indicative of the friendly & welcoming energy Hello Bestea presents. Colours as sweet as bubble tea reflect the kind, community-minded spirit that powers Hello Bestea. Hand-drawn, illustrative elements represent the care that is shown all the way from the creation of the product to the treatment of each customer.
